VDA 6.3 is a widely accepted process audit method around the world. VDA 6.3 version 2023 has been rolled out first time in Chinese, English and German languages (world wide) in Jan. 2023.
The VDA 6.3 process audit has been established for almost three decades as an important method for identi fying strengths and weaknesses. VDA 6.3 was published for the first time in 1998 and was revised in 2010, 2016 as well as 2023 (present edition)
VDA 6.3 is a key component of quality management in the automotive industry. It serves as a reference manual for the implementation of process audits along the entire supply chain and helps companies to ensure and continuously im prove the quality capability of their processes. This standard is therefore an essential tool that enables companies to meet the high quality requirements of customers worldwide.
How to become a qualified VDA 6.3 Process Auditor
There are a number of requirements that need to be met if you want to qualify as a VDA 6.3 (version 2023) Process Auditor. For more information, please click here to know more.
Meanwhile, students who register for the VDA 6.3 exam need to fulfill the following requirements:
a copy of your certificate of qualification of the training “VDA 6.3 – Qualification as Process Auditor” or a copy of your certificate of qualification of the training “VDA 6.3 – Upgrade Training
a copy of your auditor qualification on the basis of DIN EN ISO 19011(e.g. VDA Auditor、IATF16949 internal auditor or ISO9001 internal auditor from other training organization, at least 3 days training)
proof of at least 5 years industrial experience including at least 2 years quality management
Proof of knowledge of the Automotive Core Tools (ID 415:2022 or ID 417) or two-day training from another provider (since 2019) Plus Automotive Core Tools Quiz(RMB 400/person) from VDA QMC
If you do not have training certificate of Core Tools or you did not pass the online quiz, you must attend the ID 417 or ID 415 -Core Tools training and pass the knowledge test which hold by VDA QMC China.
After successful examination (interview) we will issue a VDA 6.3 (2023) certification which is valid worldwide database.

(Certificate of certified Auditor after passed ID 382 examination)
Examination Fee: RMB 3500/person (incl. VAT)
VDA 6.3 Process Auditor Qualification Renewal Process:
Documents to be provided for VDA 6.3 Extension:
1. excel "VDA6.3 Extension Application Registration Form" application form to fill out
2. word "VDA 6.3 (2023) version of the extension application form (new) - audit experience" fill in the company stamped scanning
3. need to provide VDA6.3 (2022 version upgrade training ID333) training certificate
4. VDA 6.3 certificate scanned (within 1 month of expiration, the expiration date can not exceed 3 months)
